Job Summary:
We are seeking a SCADA Developer to design, build, and enhance our cutting-edge IIoT platform. Reporting to the Chief Product Owner, you will be responsible for developing tools, integrations, and edge solutions for industrial environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SCADA, IIoT protocols, software development, and DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize platform features using Ignition, HiveMQ, and Timescale DB.
Build responsive front-end dashboards using HTML, CSS, and Java.
Develop and maintain backend logic using Python and Java to process edge data and integrate systems.
Deploy and manage containerized applications with Kubernetes.
Automate CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for efficient releases.
Integrate industrial protocols such as MQTT, OPC UA, and Modbus.
Ensure performance, security, and scalability of time-series data workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and solve complex manufacturing challenges.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years in software development with 3+ years in IIoT or edge computing.
Technical Skills: Expertise in Ignition (SCADA, scripting), HiveMQ (MQTT), and TimescaleDB.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Java for UI development.
Advanced Python and Java programming for backend and edge computing.
Experience deploying applications using Kubernetes and automating workflows with GitHub Actions.
Protocols & Industrial Knowledge:
Strong grasp of MQTT, OPC UA, and Modbus.
Hands-on experience debugging and optimizing industrial data pipelines.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Manufacturing or Industry 4.0.
Familiarity with AWS IoT, Azure IoT, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of IIoT security best practices.
