About the Role Gatitaa Technology is placing a Junior AI/Software Engineer with a client building intelligent enterprise workflow and automation solutions. You will work alongside senior engineers to develop backend services, integrate LLM-powered features, and support cloud-native infrastructure on AWS. ship is required by the end client.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain backend services in Java and Python
Contribute to RAG pipeline development including document ingestion, embeddings, and retrieval
Integrate LLM APIs (AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, or similar) into existing backend systems
Develop REST APIs using Spring Boot and FastAPI
Work with AWS services: Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and Bedrock
Write clean, documented, and testable code following Agile practices
Collaborate with senior engineers on architecture decisions and code reviews

Required Skills

2–4 years of hands-on experience in Java and/or Python backend development
Familiarity with REST API design using Spring Boot or FastAPI
Basic AWS exposure — Lambda, S3, DynamoDB
Understanding of SQL and relational databases
Exposure to LLMs, RAG pipelines, or GenAI concepts through work, coursework, or projects

Nice to Have

Experience with AWS Bedrock, LangChain, or LlamaIndex
Familiarity with vector databases
GitHub portfolio with relevant projects

Requirements
