DAM Specialist (AEM)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking DAM Specialist (AEM) in Redmond, WA.

This role directly supports:
* Campaign asset migrations into AEM Assets
* Metadata and taxonomy alignment with enterprise brand standards
* Frontend discoverability via AEM Content Hub
* Operational readiness for downstream creative and marketing teams

The DAM Manager works closely with Technical Product Managers, Brand stakeholders, and platform teams but is not a product owner or delivery lead.

This role functions as a DAM execution specialist, responsible for ensuring assets are:
* Properly inventoried
* Correctly structured
* Accurately tagged
* Fully QA'd
* Ready for consumption at scale

Success depends on precision, consistency, and follow through, not abstract strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
Asset Inventory & Migration Preparation:
Create and maintain a detailed asset migration inventory, including:
* Asset counts
* File sizes
* File types
* Source locations

* Validate inventory completeness against migration checklists and schedules
* Identify gaps, duplicates, or inconsistencies prior to ingestion

Folder Structure & Organization (AEM Assets):
* Recommend logical, scalable folder structures aligned to campaign and brand needs
* Implement folder structures directly within AEM Assets
* Ensure folder taxonomy supports discoverability, governance, and reuse

REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of experience in Digital Asset Management, DAM Librarian, or Taxonomy roles
* Handson experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Assets

Strong experience with:
* Asset migrations
* Metadata schemas
* Taxonomy design and application

* Experience performing bulk metadata operations
* High attention to detail and comfort working with large asset volumes
* Ability to follow structured processes and checklists consistently

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience supporting campaign or marketing asset ecosystems
* Familiarity with AEM Content Hub
* Experience managing metadata dropdowns via JSON
* Background working in enterprise brand or marketing environments

What This Role Does not do:
* Does not own DAM or platform strategy
* Does not define enterprise metadata standards
* Does not own product roadmaps or technical architecture
* Does not manage engineering backlogs or sprint planning
* Does not serve as a program or project manager

* Comfortable with repetitive, high precision DAM work
* Confident working independently within clear guardrails
* Experienced enough to spot issues early without overengineering solutions

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
