Position: AI Platform Engineer
Location: Omaha, NE (100% Onsite)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced AI Platform Engineer to accelerate foundational AI platform initiatives and strengthen our enterprise engineering capabilities. This role focuses on designing, developing, automating, and implementing scalable AI platform components that enable secure, reliable, and efficient AI/ML solutions across the organization.
The ideal candidate will work closely with Platform Architects, Principal Engineers, Data Scientists, AI Engineers, and Product Teams to deliver reusable platform services, automation frameworks, integration patterns, and operational standards that support enterprise-scale AI innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement secure, scalable, and highly available AI platform components and services.
- Build automation frameworks, reusable accelerators, and standardized platform capabilities that enable rapid onboarding and deployment of AI solutions.
- Develop AI integration frameworks supporting:
- Model Context Protocol (MCP)
- Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication
- Multi-Agent Orchestration
- AI Workflow Automation
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- 7+ years of software engineering or platform engineering experience.
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise AI/ML platforms.
- Strong understanding of enterprise platform products, architecture, and system dependencies.
- Hands-on expertise in:
- Java
- Python
- SQL
- Linux
- Shell/Python scripting
- Strong focus on automation and platform engineering.
- Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar).
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
