Senior SAP SD / Order-to-Cash Functional Consultant

We are seeking a Senior SAP SD / Order-to-Cash Functional Consultant to support New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives.
This role is responsible for ensuring that new products (hardware, software, and services) are fully configured in SAP and ready for revenue generation from Day 1. The consultant will partner with Product, Pricing, Finance, and Engineering teams to enable seamless order-to-cash execution.
Key Responsibilities

1) NPI Enablement & Execution

• Own SAP SD configuration for new product launches (end-to-end)
• Ensure pricing, billing, revenue, and fulfillment readiness prior to go-live
• Translate NPI business requirements into SAP design and configuration
• Manage multiple concurrent NPIs (high-velocity environment)

2) SAP SD Configuration & Pricing

• Configure:
  • Sales documents, item categories, schedule lines
  • Pricing procedures & condition techniques
  • Billing plans and SD-FI integration
• Design and support complex / progressive pricing models (tiered, volume, consumption)
• Ensure accurate revenue-impacting configurations

3) Serial Number & High-Volume Processing

• Handle large-scale serial number scenarios (50K 70K+)
• Design bulk upload mechanisms using custom programs / BAPIs
• Implement validation logic for data accuracy

4) Integration & Technical Collaboration

• Support integrations with:
  • Salesforce
  • External systems via IDocs / file-based interfaces
• Understand and manage delta handling limitations in file-based interfaces
• Perform ABAP debugging to troubleshoot pricing, billing, and interface issues
• Work with enhancements (user exits, BADIs, routines)

5) Order-to-Cash Governance

• Ensure correct order capture, pricing accuracy, and billing flow
• Support order simulation and pricing validation scenarios
• Implement controls for order acknowledgment, validations, and release

6) Cross-functional Collaboration

• Act as the bridge between Business, IT, Product, and Finance teams
• Support UAT, go-live, and stabilization
• Align with NPI owners to meet tight release timelines

Required Skills & Experience

• 8 10+ years of SAP SD / OTC functional experience
• Strong expertise in:
  • Order management, pricing, billing
  • SD FI integration and revenue flow
• Hands-on ABAP debugging capability (must-have)
• Experience with:
  • SAP Queries / Infosets
  • Pricing tables and condition techniques
  • Interfaces (IDoc / file-based)
• Proven experience in NPI / product lifecycle environments
• Strong ability to handle high-volume, deadline-driven scenarios

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-tech / semiconductor / software product companies
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA
• Experience with:
  • RAR (Revenue Accounting & Reporting)
  • GTS (Global Trade Services)
• Background in software/licensing monetization models
