What you'll do...

IMMIGRATION SPONSORSHIP IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS ROLE

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using 5S, Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma, and time & motion studies to eliminate waste and reduce losses within Distribution Center operations.
  • Align improvement efforts with Network Process Structure and the Walmart Performance System (WPS).
  • Deliver functional area results through KPI analysis, loss elimination, and the creation of standard work to reduce process variation.
  • Lead cost-savings and loss-reduction projects by identifying inefficiencies and driving sustainable process improvements.
  • Apply Network One Best Way playbooks and provide input to Divisional Focused Improvement Teams on project ideation and replication opportunities.
Program & Project Leadership
  • Support the tactical deployment of WPS methodology across the functional area.
  • Manage execution of improvement projects targeting top operational losses.
  • Support loss profile analysis and performance metrics; develop gap analyses to enable effective WPS integration.
  • Assist Area Managers with the review, execution, and response to process improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate and oversee projects by:
    • Building and maintaining strong stakeholder partnerships
    • Supporting business and customer-focused initiatives
    • Communicating goals, timelines, and expectations
    • Establishing accountability and measuring progress
    • Identifying risks and improvement opportunities
    • Demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning
People Leadership & Capability Building
  • Support Department Managers with WPS programs, associate engagement, and KPI improvement within assigned process areas.
  • Build capability across teams by coaching Area Managers and associates on continuous improvement principles.
  • Provide direct supervision and development through hiring, training, mentoring, work assignment, and recognition.
  • Foster a culture of belonging, accountability, and high performance.
