Senior Cloud & Data Platform Engineer

Core Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following experience requirements:

• Multi-Cloud Expertise: 10+ years of experience managing enterprise environments across Azure and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).

• GenAI & Enterprise AI: 10+ years of experience with AI platforms, specifically Gemini and Vertex AI.

• Monitoring & Observability: 10+ years of expertise in Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Google Cloud Platform Cloud Monitoring. You must be proficient in using Logstash for log ingestion, transformation, and integration.

• Operational Alerting: 10+ years of experience designing automated alerting solutions (including Twilio integration for SMS/Voice) to manage ETL failures and operational alerts.

• Data Architecture: 10+ years of experience supporting data platforms, pipelines, and analytics workloads, including proficiency with Blob Storage and Data Lakes.

• Integration & ETL: 10+ years of experience with Informatica Cloud (IICS), Secure Agents, and complex API integration patterns.

• Security & Compliance: 10+ years of hands-on implementation of IAM (Least Privilege), network security, and audit logging within regulated environments (e.g., FedRAMP).

• Production Support: 10+ years of experience supporting Tier 2/3 production environments, including advanced debugging, log analysis, and platform access resolution.

Preferred Qualifications

The following skills are a plus and will distinguish top candidates:

• Business Intelligence: Familiarity with managing Tableau Cloud environments.

• Geospatial Data: Experience integrating ArcGIS or similar geospatial systems with cloud data platforms.

• Automation & Infrastructure: Proficiency in Python/Bash scripting, serverless computing, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Containerization: Exposure to GKE, AKS, Docker, and microservices architectures.

• Data Strategy: Knowledge of data mesh, ELT/ETL architectures, and enterprise data standards.

• Leadership & Communication: Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for business stakeholders, executive leadership, and end users.

• Project Ownership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams (engineering, data, infrastructure) and take end-to-end ownership of platform stability and risk mitigation in high-pressure environments.
