In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering enterprise data solutions that create meaningful business value.  You’ll work on deploying our business intelligence platforms to the organization at enterprise scale and following best practices around data management, data quality, and data governance.

We’re looking for someone with hands-on experience in Spotfire and TDV.  Additionally, experience with Power BI and Databricks is preferred. This position will need to collaborate closely with IT teams, business units, and data consumers to ensure solutions meet both technical and business needs.
All solutions must be built with a focus on reliability, reusability, and compliance with data governance and security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform application upgrades, patches, hot fixes, rollbacks, etc.
  • Maintain underlying application infrastructure including servers, databases, networking, etc.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity problems between Spotfire, TDV, and underlying data sources.
  • Review OS, Application, and Network log files
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Optimize Spotfire performance to reduce latency and report load times.
  • Implement varied authentication protocols and SSO integrations.
  • Integrate Python and R capabilities with Spotfire, where necessary.
  • Troubleshoot and improve application performance and integration.
  • Partner with Information Security to keep data secure in transit and at rest across the data analytics landscape.
  • Stay current with Spotfire and TDV updates and industry trends to continuously improve BI capabilities.
  • Participate in the on-call support rotation with other Data Operations team members, for 24x7 support of critical applications.

Qualifications:

  • 3–6+ years of hands-on experience in systems/platform engineering or data platform administration
  • Proven experience supporting Spotfire and/or TDV in production environments
  • Strong working knowledge of both Windows Server administration and Linux system administration
  • Kerberos Authentication and Keytab experience
  • Active Directory and Entra Identity Provider experience
  • Single Sign On Configuration
  • Python, PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting experience
  • Report Caching and Optimization experience
  • Ansible Automation Platform experience
  • Network and Application Load Balancing experience
  • TLS Certificates and Certificate Authorities configuration
  • Experience in Spotfire, TDV, Power BI, or other similar tools.
  • Experience in data modeling and data analytics development.
  • Experience developing information, conducting meetings and making presentations
  • Experience coordinating with and training other project members
  • Experience with infrastructure technologies and the ability to understand/communicate impacts resulting from development activities
  • Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work
