Position Overview: The Palo Alto engineer will be responsible for administration and configuration of Palo Alto. The primary focus for the candidate will be managing firewall policy using Panorama and Tufin. The candidate will also be responsible for supporting IPSEC configurations, Palo Alto hardware and virtual firewall platforms, global protect, and collaborating with IT Security to mitigate security vulnerabilities and other duties as assigned.
Project Overview: Prime is currently transitioning technology stacks from on-premise to Public Cloud and SAAS/PAAS providers. As part of their transition strategy, Prime is specifically looking for a FW engineer to maintain and update firewall policy as application teams migrate into cloud. The primary goal is to realize cost savings and increased velocity for the Networking teams by taking a managed services approach.
Work environment: Complex and Collaborative. Provide FW policy support for migration of resources to cloud providers from on-prem while maintaining critical system availability for business users.

1. Palo Alto firewall policy utilizing AppID, URL filtering, Threat, and Wildfire
