Summary

Junior SAP Master Data Analyst / SAP Data Coordinator 100% Remote 

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior-level candidate looking to gain hands-on SAP experience. The client is willing to train and ramp up someone with limited experience, as much of the day-to-day work is focused on data entry, master data maintenance, and data quality.

Must-Have / Core Responsibilities:

  • Customer, vendor, and material master data creation and maintenance.
  • Data entry and record management with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Updating, validating, and maintaining master data records.

Preferred Experience:

  • Exposure to SAP, ideally S/4HANA.
  • Experience with master data management in any ERP system.
  • Data extraction, reporting, and working with data related to migrations, conversions, or analysis.

Nice-to-Have Technical Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with SAP master data tables such as:
    • MARA (Material Master)
    • MARC (Plant Data)
    • MVKE (Material Sales Data)
    • KNA1 (Customer Master)
    • LFA1 (Vendor Master)
  • Ability to validate, troubleshoot, and reconcile master data.
  • Understanding of SAP data structures and relationships between records.

 

Don't get hung up on finding someone with deep SAP expertise. Candidates with light SAP exposure, ERP experience, data analyst backgrounds, business systems experience, or even strong administrative/data-entry experience could be a fit. The client is prioritizing attention to detail, willingness to learn, and the ability to manage large volumes of data accurately over advanced SAP configuration or technical development skills.

 

 

Responsibilities:

The SAP Master Data Coordinator role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders and external SAP resources to facilitate and ensure ongoing operational success. Working closely with business users and cross-functional teams, the coordinator will focus on maintaining data integrity, consistency, and efficiency across SAP master data domains and various platforms. Key responsibilities include coordinating, reviewing, identifying, and creating master data in accordance with business requirements. Being able to understand how master data works with business processes is essential to understanding the requirements of the system.  The ideal candidate will bring a blend of agility, industry expertise, and a passion for technology.

 

Responsibilities:

Develop and create records within SAP to meet Master Data business requirements 

Identify master data and its relationship to internal business processes 

Interact regularly with all departments to help facilitate quick and accurate data into SAP  

Assist with coordinating communication between stakeholders of various departments to improve process and communication flow of master data requirements 

Wherever possible, assist with the creation of templates, documentation, and enhancements for day-to-day master data transactions 

Assist business with the pulling and extraction of various data tables and uploads of information 

Identifies any data misalignments and monitors/troubleshoots any discrepancies 

Perform other master data activities as assigned by the manager 

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred 

1-3 years relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience 

1-2 years' experience of working with an ERP, SAP preferred

Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel; must know VLOOKUPs

Strong analytical and quantitative skills with an eye for detail

Detail oriented and organized; capable of keeping data trail of any changes or additions

Organizes daily tasks by business impact 

Additional experience in Master Data, IT, Business Analyst systems, or supply chain would be desirable. 

 

Worksite: 

  • The PIM Brands Global Headquarters in Park Ridge, New Jersey
  • The role requires working on-site: Monday thru Friday. Work remotely once per month on a Friday.
  • 2pm Summer Fridays between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend
