Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain custom Backstage plugins and platform features using TypeScript, Node.js, React, and/or Python.
Build developer-facing tools, APIs, templates, and self-service workflows that simplify onboarding and service creation.
Develop software solutions that integrate with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, observability tooling, and internal engineering systems.
Partner with engineering teams to improve developer experience, automation, and platform adoption.
Contribute to cloud-native platform capabilities using AWS/Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Terraform, and related technologies.

Ideal Background

Strong software engineering experience with Java, Node.js, TypeScript, or React.
Hands-on experience building Backstage plugins, developer portals, internal tools, or platform products.
Experience building APIs, microservices, and full-stack applications.
Platform engineering experience is preferred, but candidates should be developers first and operators second.
