That's why we need you, an experience d test engineer who knows how to thoroughly test sof t war e and work with developers to make sure our team releases the best sof t war e possible.

As a Test Engineer on our team, you'll recommend testing met hodologies, prepare test plans, and prepare test procedures and test cases based on specific requirements. You'll c ond uct various system tests, including integration, systems, and regression, document and present test results, perform system validation and verification, and work with developers through all phases of the system lifecycle to clarify requirements and ensure testability. You will estimate resource needs for testing tasks for input into project plans.

You Have:

• 4+ years of experience with bug tracking sof t war e such as Bugzilla
• 4+ years of experience with basic network concepts
• 4+ years of experience developing or testing sof t war e written in programming languages such as Python
• 4+ years of experience testing sof t war e on Linux
• 2+ years of experience in a lead test role
• HS diploma or GED and 8+ years of experience preparing, c ond ucting, and documenting various systems tests and results to verify system operability and compliance with project standards and requirements, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and 4+ years of experience preparing, c ond ucting, and documenting various systems tests and results to verify system operability and compliance with project standards and requirements, OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems and 2+ years of experience preparing, c ond ucting, and documenting various systems tests and results to verify system operability and compliance with project standards and requirements

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
