Summary
Location: USA, Remote (Candidate will be required to travel occasionally to the customer's headquarters in New York for workshops and review meetings.)
Duration: 9 Months
We are looking for a strong resource with hands-on experience in Confluent Kafka and Apache Flink, along with expertise in the following areas:
- Architect end-to-end CDC → Enterprise Bus → Middleware → APIM integration patterns.
- Design Kafka/Confluent-based event-driven architectures leveraging SMT, KSQLDB, and Flink.
- Define API contracts and APIM POST methods for product data ingestion.
- Develop and manage Kafka producer/consumer configurations and topic administration.
- Implement CDC connectors (Debezium/SAP) for ERP source systems.
- Support schema design and Databricks Bronze layer ingestion pipelines.
- Implement SMT and KSQLDB-based transformation rules on Kafka topics.
- Support mapping framework enhancements for AP/AR/OA object schema changes.
- Assist in Flink/Kafka Streams job development for in-flight data enrichment and processing.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with Confluent Kafka and Apache Flink is required.
