IT Sourcing and Procurement - IT Vendor management. This role is focused not only on hardware and software negotiations, but consulting services negotiations. Dealing with firms like IBM, Microsoft, Cognizant, the well-known vendors They need to lead vendors. And doing the negotiations themselves, not assisting in negotiations.
SALARY: $89k - $110k plus 15% Bonus

- Technology procurement background both software and hardware
- 5-15 yrs of experience
- Small team, group of 5. This person will wear many hats
- Excellent communication skills
- Work with business to gather requirement - legal, governance, procurement etc.
- Negotiation skills in technology
- Excellent articulation skills, must be able to own it and execute to technical teams and leadership
- Will oversee spend amount varies
- Good in Excel
- They use (ERP) Oracle Fusion and (Financial/Business Management Tool) Apptio, and ServiceNow these are plusses
Qualifications & Experience
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in procurement, specifically in the technology space including contracting, sourcing and negotiations
- Successful track record in a large procurement organization
- Technology procurement experience (minimum 3 years)
- Strong negotiation expertise with an understanding of key contracting concepts and legal terms
- Ability to translate business requirements into agreements
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and reach consensus
- Knowledge of financial analysis and management.
- Knowledge of IT asset management.
- Experience in risk management skills.
- Experience managing vendors
