Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Developer with strong front-end development experience to design and build modern, responsive, and accessible web/mobile applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technology teams to deliver intuitive user experiences and scalable UI solutions for high-visibility projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive UI/UX solutions for web and mobile applications.
- Convert UX designs into scalable front-end code using modern frameworks.
- Develop reusable UI components and maintain design systems.
- Ensure applications meet WCAG/ADA accessibility standards.
- Collaborate with analysts, developers, architects, and stakeholders in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for user-centric solutions.
- Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Stay updated with modern UI/UX trends and front-end technologies.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React.js, Angular, Vue.js, or jQuery.
- Knowledge of responsive design, accessibility standards, and UI best practices.
- Experience with design/prototyping tools like Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or InVision.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- UI/UX certifications are a plus.
- Experience with accessibility tools (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver).
- Utility industry experience is preferred.
