We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Lead QA Automation Engineer to design, build, and scale a comprehensive test automation platform. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our cross-platform automation strategy, ensuring exceptional quality across our Web, Mobile (iOS & Android), and Desktop (macOS & Windows) applications.
You will not only be hands-on in writing robust test scripts but also take ownership of the automation architecture, integrating diverse tools into a unified, seamless pipeline. What You''ll Do
Platform Architecture & Leadership: Lead the design and development of a scalable, robust test automation framework capable of testing web, mobile, and native desktop applications.
Tool Integration: Unify our testing efforts by seamlessly integrating Robot Framework, Appium, and FlaUI into a cohesive testing ecosystem.
Cross-Platform Automation: * Build and maintain automated tests for Windows native applications using FlaUI.
Develop mobile (iOS/Android) and macOS native automation using Appium.
Orchestrate test execution, reporting, and keyword-driven test creation using Robot Framework.
CI/CD Integration: Integrate the automation platform into our continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enable frequent, reliable releases.
Mentorship & Best Practices: Act as the subject matter expert for automation. Mentor developers, establish coding standards for test scripts, and drive a culture of quality.
Continuous Improvement: Monitor test execution results, troubleshoot flaky tests, optimize test run times, and proactively evaluate new tools to keep our automation stack cutting-edge.

What You''ll Need (Required Skills & Qualifications)
Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance and test automation, with proven experience in a leadership or architectural role.
Programming Proficiency: Strong coding skills in Python (for Robot Framework/Appium) and strong experience with Windows UI automation.

Framework Expertise:
Deep understanding of Robot Framework for keyword-driven testing and custom library creation.
Extensive experience with Appium for testing native/hybrid mobile apps and macOS desktop apps.
Proven experience using FlaUI (or similar tools like CodedUI/White) for automating native Windows applications.

Cross-Platform Knowledge: Solid understanding of the underlying architectures of Web, Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android to effectively troubleshoot platform-specific UI behaviors.
Version Control & CI/CD: Proficiency with Git and experience integrating test frameworks into CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Problem Solving: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to debug complex cross-system issues.

Standout Skills (Nice-to-Haves)
Experience writing custom Python libraries for Robot Framework to bridge different technology stacks.
Familiarity with physical device farms (laptops, servers, & mobile devices)
Experience with containerization (Docker) for consistent test environment setup.
Agile/Scrum experience
