Lead and oversee the product management teams within the Membership & Deposit Products Division. Drive the strategy including identification, recommendations, prioritization, and the roadmap of end-to-end technology and product enhancement solutions that align with business objectives and priorities. These teams define what the product features should be and explain why they are needed for both Cloud Core and current state products. Serve as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders, providing vision, transparency, and proactive risk management. Champion innovation, process improvement, and operational excellence across the product portfolio, while developing team capabilities and fostering collaboration across the enterprise. Act as a key liaison between key senior business stakeholders and technology teams to define, develop, communicate, and execute strategic plans for ensuring alignment of product strategy with organizational goals.
Responsibilities - Lead cross-departmental, multi-functional teams to deliver on Membership & Deposit Products product management objectives and business outcomes
- Partner with product owners, business leaders, and senior stakeholders to execute product strategy and drive superior results
- Oversee the development and maintenance of product roadmaps, backlogs, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with business goals
- Leads team by acting as a thought leader, driving competitive intelligence, analyzing customer insights / data, and building team consensus
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including business units, technology teams, and external partners
- Assist team members in broad thinking and accountability, including ensuring new designs, changes, or enhancements to systems meet user requirement needs and ensure adherence to industry, regulatory, department, and enterprise standards
- Support strategic planning and enterprise initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members, supporting succession planning and workforce strategy
- Enables complex decision making for senior leaders around product features through clear and concise communication, including masterful visual storytelling via slide presentations
- Ensure effective communication and escalation of risks, impediments, and operational concerns
- Guide and analyze benchmarking, trend analysis, and other input to drive continuous product improvement and elevate data-driven, member-centric thinking
- Drives a culture of experimentation and test & learns, including guiding unprompted new ideas, initiatives, and recommendations that drive continuous improvement
- Encourages utilization of AI across the daily work of team members and in product enhancements
- Lead and participate in large, multidisciplinary projects and initiatives, providing consulting expertise and guidance from conceptualization to implementation
- Perform supervisory/managerial responsibilities and other duties as assigned
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Extensive experience in product management or portfolio management, including leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects
- Proven ability to develop and implement product strategies, roadmaps, and performance metrics
- Experience working directly with technical teams in an agile software development environment
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and facilitation skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Advanced analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills; ability to use data and metrics to drive decisions
- Effective communicator, able to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences and influence outcomes
- Experience in financial planning, resource management, and operational oversight
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Knowledge of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in product and portfolio management
- Experience with change management, process improvement, and adoption of modern IT practices
- Significant experience supervising and leading professional employees
- Ability to articulate leading business issues and trends, including associated technology implications
- Experience in building consensus and delivering processes and frameworks that support alignment between stakeholders across an enterprise
