Summary

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineering Architect to lead enterprise-scale cloud migration and DevOps transformation initiatives with 15+ years of experience. This role is responsible for designing, planning, and executing application and infrastructure migrations while implementing modern DevOps practices, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud-native architectures. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in cloud platforms, automation, containerization, and enterprise migration strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end migration projects from on-premises environments to public, private, or hybrid cloud platforms.
Design scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures aligned with business and technical requirements.
Develop and implement DevOps strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
Architect Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, or similar technologies.
Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and networking teams to ensure seamless migration execution.
Perform migration assessments, dependency mapping, and modernization planning.
Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Implement containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
Integrate security best practices, compliance standards, and governance into DevOps processes (DevSecOps).
Design monitoring, logging, alerting, and disaster recovery solutions.
Mentor engineering teams on DevOps best practices and cloud-native technologies.
Provide technical leadership throughout migration planning, execution, validation, and post-migration optimization.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of IT infrastructure, cloud, or DevOps experience.
5+ years designing and leading enterprise cloud migration projects.
Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, or Pulumi).
Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
Experience with container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong scripting skills using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
Knowledge of networking, DNS, load balancing, VPNs, firewalls, and identity management.
Experience implementing monitoring solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or Splunk.
Strong understanding of security best practices and DevSecOps principles.
Preferred Qualifications

AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect certification.
Kubernetes certifications (CKA or CKAD).
Experience with VMware migration and modernization.
Experience migrating enterprise applications, databases, and middleware.
Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
