Job Title: Data Strategy Lead

Location: Chicago- Onsite

Job Summary:

·    We are seeking a Data Strategy Lead to spearhead the enterprise data strategy, target state architecture, and data roadmaps across Commercial, Consumer, Mortgage, and Business Lending.

·      The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, governance, and risk management, with a focus on delivering unified customer data solutions and robust credit risk models.

Responsibilities:

·    Lead the design and implementation of canonical data models covering the end-to-end credit lifecycle, including Loan Origination, Servicing, and Collections.

·    Architect Master Data Management (MDM) solutions to achieve a unified Customer 360 view, including complex party hierarchies and relationship data.

·       Build and maintain data structures for credit risk modeling, collateral tracking, and aggregate exposure management.

·       Design and implement modern Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Lakehouse architectures using AWS and Azure cloud platforms.

·       Develop streaming architectures, APIs, and real-time data pipelines to support instant credit decisioning and point-of-sale processing.

·       Drive data governance standards, data quality frameworks, metadata catalogs, and end-to-end data lineage.

·       Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting standards, including CCAR, CECL, IFRS 9, and Basel frameworks.

·     Enforce enterprise data security protocols while managing executive stakeholder relationships and aligning technology with business strategy.

Mandatory Skills:

·       Advanced knowledge in Banking & Wealth Management, Financial Services Cloud, and Customer 360 Ecosystems.

·       Expertise in security, privacy, and data protection.

·       Strong foundation in analytics, reporting, and AI/ML data principles.

·       Proficiency in cloud data platforms, specifically Azure and AWS.

·       In-depth understanding of regulatory reporting and compliance frameworks (CCAR, Basel, IFRS9, CECL).

Preferred Skills:

Experience with DevOps practices and tools.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Relevant certifications in data management and cloud platforms are a plus.
