My client is a leading manufacturing company and has a growing new location. They are looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer to their team. The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for supporting and improving products and optimizing production processes to ensure they are maintained and adequate to support the company?s business operations.

Job Details

Duties:

\tMonitor KPIs and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement activities on the production floor.
\tAnalyze and improve manufacturing methods, workflows, and automation to enhance efficiency and quality.
\tTrack KPIs and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement on the production floor.
\tLead initiatives to reduce costs, minimize waste, and drive sustainability efforts.
\tConduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve production challenges.
\tOversee project timelines, ensuring successful execution and delivery.
\tWork closely with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
\tDesign, develop, and refine tooling, fixtures, and equipment to enhance productivity.
\tPursue and support cost reduction and sustainability initiatives
\tSupport new product introduction (NPI) and localization projects to streamline production
\tDevelop and improve standard operating procedures (SOP) to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance.
\tComplete special projects and other duties as assigned. This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary.

Qualifications:

\tBS in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or Automation preferred. Degree in Engineering or technical discipline required.
\t1 ? 4 years as a manufacturing engineer or similar technical role
\tMust have mechanical and electrical aptitude and technical experience in a manufacturing environment.
\tMust be able to read and interpret technical documents such as drawings, schematic diagrams, operating instructions and manuals.
\tExperience with Lean Manufacturing processes.

o\tLean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt a plus, but not required

\tExperience with SolidWorks or AutoCAD for technical drawings and design.
\tStrong analytical reasoning, communication, and project management skills.
\tKnowledge of automation software, robotic systems, SCADA and/or industrial computer networks, HMI?s, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
