Role Overview- Accountable for delivering IT projects on time, within budget, and with high quality
- Owns planning, execution, tracking, and successful completion of multiple initiatives
- Manages projects across the full lifecycle: concept, prototype, pilot, implementation, and follow-up
- This person can sit either in Chicago, Illinois or Peoria, Illinois
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage project charters, schedules, budgets, and overall project plans
- Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate work across business and engineering
- Track project performance using metrics, reports, dashboards, and project management tools
- Manage change requests and update schedules to reflect scope, cost, timeline, and impact
- Monitor risks and issues; communicate status, problems, and corrective actions proactively
- Recommend solutions and alternatives to keep projects on track
- Ensure stakeholders are informed and aligned on progress and delivery dates
Team & Work Environment- Partner with Product Owners from both business and engineering
- Work across multiple teams and functional disciplines
- Manage 2-3 projects at a time
- Annual project volume: approximately 8-10 projects (or aligned to agile sprint cycles)
- Project complexity ranges from challenging to very challenging
Contributions- Lead delivery of software solutions that integrate shared services and enterprise systems
- Support application integrations with modern digital platform capabilities
- Ensure solutions follow best practices in architecture, security, and scalability
Required Skills- Strong project management experience
- Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies
Preferred Qualifications- Certifications: PMP, CSM, SAFe, Change Management, Six Sigma Black Belt
- Experience serving as a Scrum Master in addition to project management
- Experience in large, enterprise-level environments
- Experience supporting eCommerce applications or initiatives

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
