Job Title: Senior Validation Engineer

Overview
Talent Groups is seeking a Senior Validation Engineer to support the development of advanced sensing and electronic control technologies used in industrial automation and heavy equipment applications.
This role is responsible for leading verification and validation efforts for complex electronic products, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, quality, and safety requirements. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, hands on testing experience, and the ability to collaborate across engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute DVP&R plans, validation strategies, and test acceptance criteria based on product requirements, risk assessments, and FMEA results
• Lead verification and validation activities across laboratory, environmental, HIL, simulation, and field testing environments
• Configure test setups, fixtures, wiring harnesses, and test equipment
• Coordinate testing schedules, resources, and deliverables while ensuring quality and compliance
• Analyze test results, investigate failures, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions
• Present validation findings and support product release decisions
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, firmware, systems, and software engineering teams
• Improve validation processes, testing methods, and documentation standards
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship on validation best practices
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor''s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in product validation, verification, testing, or reliability engineering
• Experience developing and executing DVP&R plans
• Strong understanding of electronic product development processes
• Experience with FMEA and risk based validation methods
• Ability to independently execute tests, analyze results, and communicate findings
• Strong troubleshooting, problem solving, and communication skills
• Experience maintaining accurate test documentation and project records
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with IMUs, MEMS sensors, positioning technologies, or electronic sensing systems
• Experience with reliability, durability, environmental, or vibration testing
• Experience with hardware in the loop (HIL) testing
• Hands on experience with laboratory equipment, wiring harnesses, fixtures, and electronic test systems
• Experience supporting industrial, automotive, construction, agricultural, or heavy equipment products
