SUMMARY

The Systems Engineer II will play a key role in the planning, design, and implementation of complex systems solutions. This intermediate-level position requires a deeper understanding of systems architecture and a proven track record of successful project execution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties and tasks may be assigned.

  • Design and implement scalable systems infrastructure.
  • Lead the design and implementation of high-availability systems and failover solutions.
  • Evaluate and recommend third-party tools and solutions to improve system efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain scripts and automation for routine tasks.
  • Provide technical expertise in areas like cloud computing, containerization, or DevOps practices.
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure systems comply with security policies and regulations.
  • Conduct system performance analysis and propose optimization strategies.
  • Lead system integration projects from inception to completion.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives.
  • Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Actively promotes GUEST customer service standards; develops effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Participates in team concepts and promote a team effort; performs duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required for the job.
