SUMMARY

The Systems Engineer II will play a key role in the planning, design, and implementation of complex systems solutions. This intermediate-level position requires a deeper understanding of systems architecture and a proven track record of successful project execution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties and tasks may be assigned.

Design and implement scalable systems infrastructure.
Lead the design and implementation of high-availability systems and failover solutions.
Evaluate and recommend third-party tools and solutions to improve system efficiency.
Develop and maintain scripts and automation for routine tasks.
Provide technical expertise in areas like cloud computing, containerization, or DevOps practices.
Collaborate with security teams to ensure systems comply with security policies and regulations.
Conduct system performance analysis and propose optimization strategies.
Lead system integration projects from inception to completion.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
Develop and maintain documentation for systems and processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives.
Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Actively promotes GUEST customer service standards; develops effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
Participates in team concepts and promote a team effort; performs duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Regular and reliable attendance is required for the job.
