Cloud Cybersecurity Analyst

Threat & Risk Analysis: Perform continuous identification and analysis of risks within the Agency's cloud environments.

Security Testing: Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments specifically on Azure cloud infrastructure and web applications.

Incident Response: Lead the investigation and remediation of security incidents, compliance violations, and emergent threats.

Architecture Consultation: Provide critical input on cloud/hybrid architectures and serve as the primary Security Point of Contact for cloud-securing initiatives.

Security Posture Management: Utilize Azure-native tools (Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Security Center) to perform posture assessments.

Documentation: Create and maintain rigorous security process documentation and penetration testing results to ensure compliance with Federal and State standards.

Threat Management: 5+ years of experience in Cyber Threat Monitoring, Detection, Response, and Incident Handling.

General IT Foundations: 5+ years of experience working with Windows, Linux, and Web-based applications.

Penetration Testing: Hands-on experience with industry-standard tools including Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, and Kali Linux.

Security Knowledge: Deep understanding of the OWASP Top 10 and cloud-specific attack vectors.

Vulnerability Management: Proven track record of managing and remediating vulnerabilities in complex cloud environments.

Cloud Platforms: 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure (preferred), AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.

Security Tools: Experience with Prisma Cloud, Dome9, CASBs, and Inspection architecture.

IaC Knowledge: Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and full-stack deployment.

Certifications: CISSP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, or CompTIA Cloud+.

Education: BS degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
