Remote :: AWS Devops Engineer

• Senior DevOps / Infrastructure-as-Code Engineer (AWS Migration & AMI Pipelines) 

·       Project Context 

·       This role supports AWS migration and data center exit program. The engineer will focus on infrastructure automation, golden AMI pipelines, and EC2 migration execution using AWS Application Migration Service (MGN). 

·       Key Responsibilities 

·       • Design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code using (CloudFormation, Terraform,..) 
• Build and manage golden AMI pipelines for Linux and Windows EC2 instances 
• Automate OS hardening, patching, and image promotion 
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for AMI and Terraform workflows 
• Support EC2 migrations using AWS MGN 
• Execute migration waves and cutover activities 
• Collaborate on discovery, dependency mapping, and runbooks 
• Produce documentation and support knowledge transfer 

·       Required Qualifications 

·       • 5+ years of AWS DevOps or cloud engineering experience 
• CloudFormation and Terraform experience 
• Proven AMI/image pipeline experience (Linux & Windows) 
• Experience with Packer or equivalent tooling 
• Hands-on AWS MGN migration experience 
• CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.) 
• Strong understanding of EC2, IAM, VPC, and security fundamentals

·       • Large-scale migration or data center exit experience 
• Security/compliance automation experience 
• AWS certifications
