Role: SAP Concur Techno-Functional Consultant
Location: Hybrid (San Diego, CA)
Position Overview
The SAP Concur Techno-Functional Consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Concur solutions. The role requires a blend of technical expertise and functional knowledge of travel and expense processes, ensuring seamless integration between SAP Concur and other enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead SAP Concur configuration for Travel, Expense, and Invoice modules.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system configurations.
• Develop and maintain integration interfaces between SAP Concur and ERP systems (SAP ECC/S4HANA/etc.).
• Provide technical troubleshooting and support for system issues and enhancements.
• Coordinate with SAP Concur support for incident resolution.
• Perform system testing, UAT support, and deployment activities.
• Develop documentation including configuration guides, functional specs, and user manuals.
• Deliver end-user training and support change management activities.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in SAP Concur implementation and support.
• Strong understanding of Travel, Expense, and Invoice processes.
• Experience with Concur modules: Expense, Travel, Request, Audit, Invoice, and Mobility.
• Ability to perform API-based integrations (REST/SOAP), file-based integrations, and middleware coordination.
• Knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4HANA financial modules preferred.
• Proficiency in requirement gathering, documentation, and functional specification writing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• SAP Concur certification (Expense/Travel/Invoice).
• Experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) or Dell Boomi.
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid methodologies.
• Global implementation experience.
