Summary

IDR is seeking an Enterprise Architect to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role is integral to leading enterprise architecture governance, developing technology strategies, and modernization initiatives within a dynamic organizational setting. The position requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience and the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and leadership alike.

Candidates must sit in CST or EST.

Position Overview for the Enterprise Architect:

Lead and mature enterprise architecture governance, standards, and review processes.
Develop enterprise technology strategies, architecture roadmaps, standards, and reference architectures.
Lead architecture reviews for cloud, SaaS, applications, integrations, infrastructure, and modernization initiatives.
Evaluate technology solutions across Azure/Microsoft 365, data, applications, identity, and emerging AI technologies.
Partner with security, engineering, data, PMO, vendors, and leadership to ensure technology decisions align with business needs.

Requirements for the Enterprise Architect:

5+ years of experience in enterprise, solution, cloud, infrastructure, or application architecture.
Hands-on experience engineering, implementing, administering, or supporting enterprise technology environments.
Strong experience with the Microsoft ecosystem, especially Azure and Microsoft 365.
Experience evaluating cloud, infrastructure, SaaS, applications, data, integrations, identity, and enterprise platforms.
Developing architecture standards, roadmaps, reference architectures, and governance processes.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain technical recommendations, risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs.
