Principal Solutions Architect (.NET, Angular, AWS)

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect Contractor to design and oversee the implementation of technology solutions that align with business needs and enterprise architectural standards. The role involves defining solution blueprints, guiding development teams, and ensuring secure, scalable, and high-quality system design. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical leadership across a portfolio of solutions.

Required Skills:

.NET (C#, .NET Core) Expert level (10+ years)

Angular Expert level (10+ years)

Solution Architecture & Enterprise Design

Microservices Architecture & Cloud-Native Development

AWS Cloud Services (API Gateway, Lambda, SNS/SQS, Step Functions, etc.)

System Design (OOP/OOD, Data Structures, Algorithms)

API & Integration Architecture

DevSecOps, SRE, CI/CD (GitHub, ADO, SonarQube)

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

15+ years of overall IT experience

8+ years of experience architecting enterprise-level solutions

8+ years of hands-on experience in cloud-native engineering (AWS preferred)

5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud-native services (API Gateway, MSK, SNS/SQS, Lambda, Batch, App Mesh, Istio, Step Functions, Glue, Data Pipeline, Lake Formation, Aurora, RDS, DynamoDB, EFS, S3, Athena)

Strong experience with SQL/NoSQL databases

Expertise in system design diagrams (BCD, Sequence, Activity, ER, DFD)

Strong stakeholder communication and leadership skills

Ability to work in fast-paced, complex environments

Additional Skills:

AWS (Advanced 6 9 years)

AI/ML and GenAI experience (3+ years preferred)

Experience in Tax and Immigration domains (preferred)

Experience with Agile frameworks (SAFe, Lean, XP)

Experience with modern engineering practices (DevSecOps, SRE)

Additional Notes:

Strong preference for candidates located in Eastern or Central US time zones

Ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously
