Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst for a hybrid position with a Regional Health Insurance Provider located in Eagan, MN. This is a 12+ month contract-to-hire opportunity.
Pay range: $63.00 - $73.00 per hour, W2 The Business Systems Analyst will support strategic enterprise initiatives by partnering closely with business and IT teams to define, document, and manage requirements across application configuration, workflow design, data integration, and custom development efforts. This role will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure requirements, process changes, and operational needs are clearly communicated and aligned to delivery objectives, future enhancements, and long-term operational support. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to support multiple initiatives across evolving business and technology environments.
Responsibilities: - Gather, document, analyze, and maintain business and system requirements
- Support application configuration activities, including workflow and operational process design
- Partner with Solution Architecture, Development, and business teams to support enterprise integration initiatives
- Assist with data mapping, file format analysis, and cross-system data integration efforts
- Support custom development initiatives across multiple business portfolios
- Facilitate meetings and collaboration sessions with business and technical stakeholders
- Create and maintain documentation including process flows, requirements, reporting, and operational procedures
- Ensure business requirements and process changes are clearly communicated and accessible for future enhancement efforts
- Support Agile delivery teams, implementation activities, testing coordination, and production support efforts
- Assist with governance and operational alignment activities that may impact product enhancements or upgrade initiatives
- Analyze operational processes and identify opportunities for workflow optimization and continuous improvement
Requirements: - Experience working within enterprise or healthcare operational environments
- EDI experience
- Strong business analysis and requirements gathering experience
- Process mapping and workflow analysis experience
- Experience supporting enterprise integrations and cross-system initiatives
- Data analysis, data mapping, and reporting experience
- Ability to coordinate effectively across business and technical teams
- Experience supporting Agile/Scrum delivery environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams simultaneously
- Experience with APIs and system integrations
- Experience with SQL and reporting tools
- Familiarity with workflow automation platforms and enterprise business applications
