Following multiple audits and regulatory activity, the organization is strengthening its royalties function with a leader who brings deep technical royalty experience, Vistex expertise, and a fresh, end-to-end process perspective.
Job Description
- Serve as the business owner and SME for royalty systems, including Vistex (required)
- Lead and manage a team responsible for accurate, complete, and timely royalty data
- Own royalty statements, percentage-based payouts, and contract interpretation
- Review and approve royalty deals, amendments, and system configurations
- Partner with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Audit, and Technology teams
- Validate and approve royalty payments; support internal and external audits
- Identify, resolve, and prevent royalty discrepancies (over/under payments)
- Define, document, and improve end-to-end royalty workflows and controls
- Participate in and lead Vistex implementation, optimization, and testing
- Assess current-state platforms and help design future-state metadata and systems architecture
- Establish data quality metrics, dashboards, and remediation processes
- Mentor, coach, and develop royalty and data professionals through change

The Successful Applicant
- 5+ years of hands-on royalty experience (required)
- Direct experience with Vistex and Vistex implementations (required)
- Strong background in royalty statements, contracts, and percentage calculations
- Proven experience navigating audits, controls, and financial governance
- Comfortable acting as the single point of accountability for royalty accuracy
- Experience working with ERP and reporting tools (Power BI, Snowflake preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
- Detail-oriented, organized, and confident managing multiple priorities
- Change-oriented leader with the ability to influence across complex organizations
- Experience interpreting contracts (AI-assisted tools a plus)
