Job Description:

GDOT is seeking a detail-oriented Web Developer / Web Accessibility Specialist to support accessibility auditing, remediation, development, and maintenance of web content and digital assets.

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of professional experience as a Webmaster, Web Developer, Front-End Developer, or Web Accessibility Specialist

  • Strong Microsoft SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server experience

  • WCAG 2.1 / 2.2 Level AA

  • ADA Title II requirements

  • Section 508

  • WAI-ARIA

  • HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript

  • Responsive web development

  • Accessibility testing and remediation

  • Siteimprove and/or accessiBe

  • Adobe Acrobat Pro DC / PDF accessibility remediation

  • Accessible Microsoft Office documents

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct manual and automated accessibility audits

  • Remediate HTML, CSS, JavaScript and interactive web components

  • Maintain and update SharePoint pages and custom components

  • Develop/modify SharePoint templates, web parts and page layouts

  • Implement ARIA roles, landmarks and semantic HTML

  • Remediate accessible PDFs, forms, presentations, graphics and other digital assets

  • Collaborate with content creators, IT teams, communications teams and vendors

  • Support ongoing ADA, WCAG and Section 508 compliance
