Summary

Cloud Security Engineer (SRE / DevSecOps)

Atlanta, GA- Onsite

We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer with strong SRE and DevSecOps experience to secure and automate cloud platforms across Azure and Google Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Terraform, Kubernetes (AKS/GKE), CI/CD pipelines, security automation, vulnerability remediation, and observability.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules and Infrastructure-as-Code standards.
Integrate security scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines for code, containers, dependencies, and IaC.
Automate security controls, compliance checks, and policy enforcement.
Monitor cloud infrastructure and applications for vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
Collaborate with development teams to remediate security findings and improve secure coding practices.
Manage secrets, certificates, IAM controls, and cloud access security.
Document security standards, procedures, and best practices.

Required Skills

Strong experience with Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
Hands-on expertise with Terraform, GitHub Actions, FluxCD, and/or Rundeck.
Experience securing and supporting AKS and GKE environments.
Strong knowledge of IAM, networking, encryption, secrets management, and Zero Trust principles.
Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go.
Experience with compliance frameworks such as NIST, CIS, PCI-DSS, SOC2, or ISO 27001.

Preferred Skills

Security automation and DevSecOps experience.
Observability tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Datadog, Grafana, or Prometheus.
Experience with ServiceNow.
Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault, Azure Key Vault, or Google Secret Manager.
