• 99% Remote – occasional onsite work in Denver, CO (once per quarter).

PwC is seeking an experienced Varonis Developer/Engineer to support ASAP an aerospace client with a high-visibility Proof of Concept (POC). The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise with Varonis tools and best practices, with a focus on identifying, labeling, and securing ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) data, including sensitive ammunition-related information.

This consultant will play a key role in guiding the client through best practices, spearheading the POC, and delivering early-stage through advanced automation and implementation support.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute a POC for Varonis solutions at a major aerospace client.

• Identify, classify, and label ITAR data (ammunition-related data).

• Provide best practice recommendations to ensure compliance, security, and operational excellence.

• Drive developer-level implementation, from setup to advanced automation and optimization.

• Partner with client teams to educate, advise, and present findings and strategies that showcase the value of the solution.

• Ensure successful knowledge transfer and long-term sustainability of the client’s data governance and compliance program.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Varonis solutions (implementation, configuration, automation).

• Proven ability to deliver POCs, pilots, and production rollouts.

• Deep understanding of data classification, governance, and compliance frameworks.

• Strong communication and client-facing skills; able to present and articulate technical concepts to both business and technical stakeholders.

• Self-starter capable of driving projects independently and advising on best practices.

Educational Qualifications:

• Required - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or closely related or equivalent.
• Preferred - Master’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Big Data or Analytics or equivalent.

Travel:

·   Open to travel based up on the nature of the engagement.
