Responsibilities

The North America Insights & Intelligence (NAI&I) Team

The North America Insights & Intelligence (NAI&I) team drive a human-centric and integrated Power of One (PO1) approach to insights and intelligence across our North America Commercial and Consumer organizations, to drive market-leading growth for PepsiCo. The team provides deep Food & Beverage expertise across Shopper Analytics & Insights, Consumer Insights, Commercial Intelligence and Category Leadership to build best-in-class capabilities and offer focused programs to drive growth with our customers.

What's your role?

As a Data and Analytics Manager, you'll play a key role in advancing PepsiCo's strategic analytics capabilities across U.S. business units. Working in a highly collaborative, matrixed environment, you'll partner with business and technical teams to define objectives, ensure data integrity, and deliver insights that impact both our brands and retail partners.

Key job responsibilities
  • Partner to drive our Insights agenda to enable future growth opportunities for our brands and categories.
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders, making complex topics easy to understand regardless of method, e.g., through PowerPoint or verbally.
  • Engage and influence stakeholders across the organization to ensure consumer centricity in commercial plans.
  • Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders in Sales, Category Leadership and Insights to define and deliver world class analytics tools and insights.
  • Coordinate work activities with the business, Strategy & Transformation (S&T) product development, S&T data engineering and Insights teams as required.
  • Partner with data engineers to ensure accurate data is prepared for model consumption.
  • Be an active contributor to code development and documentation in projects and services.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $106,400 - $178,100.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or related technical field
  • 6+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data science
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, with experience extracting and aggregating data from large databases
  • Proficient in Python (including pandas) and experienced with statistical modeling and machine learning
  • Skilled in collaborative code development (Jira, GitHub) and documentation for knowledge transfer
  • Proven ability to deliver insights that drive strategic decisions, revenue growth, and market share
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience working with large datasets, data warehousing, and data cleansing
  • Passion for problem-solving and continuous learning

Preferred:
  • Experience influencing stakeholders and aligning analytics with business strategy
  • 4+ years of experience in large-scale data environments
  • Experience with time series forecasting
  • Background in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry or related field
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business terms and support training and knowledge sharing
  • Participation in analytics or innovation initiatives
