Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Operations Analyst to support vendor management, procurement operations, financial analysis, and business process improvement initiatives. This individual will provide operational support, reporting, cost analysis, contract administration, and vendor oversight across multiple business units.

Desired Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience with cost-benefit analysis, TCO modeling, and business analytics
  • Experience within utilities, energy, oil & gas, telecommunications, or other regulated industries
  • Experience analyzing data and developing reports, dashboards, spreadsheets, graphs, and business recommendations
  • 2+ years of procurement lifecycle experience (vendor onboarding, purchase orders, contract administration, invoice management)
  • 3+ years of financial systems, budgeting, payment reconciliation, and invoice tracking experience
  • Experience supporting vendor management and supplier relationships
  • Knowledge of contract negotiation tactics, contract administration, and vendor agreements
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with reporting/BI tools
  • Utility, retail energy, electric, natural gas, or customer operations experience
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Ariba, or similar procurement/financial systems

Responsibilities:

  • Perform operational analysis and develop recommendations to support business initiatives
  • Manage vendor and contract-related activities
  • Conduct financial analysis, payment reconciliation, and cost tracking
  • Develop reporting, dashboards, performance metrics, and business presentations
  • Support procurement processes and vendor governance activities
  • Identify process improvements, cost-saving opportunities, and operational efficiencies

Strong preference for candidates with experience in utilities, energy, oil & gas, or other highly regulated industries.
