Genesis10 is currently seeking an Engineering Technician for a contract position with a Global Medical Technology Company located in Weston, FL. This is an 11+ month contract opportunity. This role involves providing hands-on technical support for electrical prototype builds, testing, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will be proficient in PCBA assembly and rework, soldering, cable fabrication, and general electrical hardware support within a lab environment.
Responsibilities: - Provide hands-on technical support to engineers for electrical prototype builds, testing, troubleshooting, and lab activities
- Build and rework PCBAs, including component-level soldering
- Fabricate and repair electrical cables and harnesses
- Support troubleshooting of electrical assemblies
- Assist engineers with electrical builds and test setups
- Maintain electrical lab equipment, tools, and supplies, including purchasing and inventory of required materials
Requirements: - Hands-on electrical technician experience gained through technical education, training, or relevant work experience
- Proficiency in PCBA assembly and rework, soldering, cable and harness fabrication, and troubleshooting electrical hardware
- Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly documentation
- Ability to follow defined procedures and work instructions
- 2-4 years of experience with reading electrical schematics, prototypes, electrical diagnosis/repair, and electrical troubleshooting
Pay range: $20.30 - $30.30 per hour
