Senior Network Security Engineer (Cisco ISE / Network Access Control)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer with strong expertise in Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) to lead enterprise Network Access Control (NAC) initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience implementing, configuring, and supporting Cisco ISE, TACACS+, RADIUS, and enterprise authentication services. This role will also support Palo Alto Panorama firewall management and collaborate with network and security teams to implement secure access policies across enterprise and cloud environments. This is a technical leadership role requiring hands-on engineering experience, the ability to drive security initiatives, mentor engineers, and lead enterprise network access and firewall management projects.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design, implement, and administer Cisco ISE for enterprise network authentication and access control.
· Configure and support TACACS+, RADIUS, 802.1X, device profiling, guest access, and policy-based access control.
· Lead enterprise Network Access Control (NAC) initiatives using Cisco ISE or similar NAC platforms.
· Manage and support Palo Alto Panorama firewall management and enterprise firewall policies.
· Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise firewall and network security solutions.
· Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to implement secure network access strategies.
· Lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and establish network security best practices.
· Support hybrid cloud environments and ensure compliance with enterprise security standards.
· Create technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications:
· Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and experience with Forescout and Firemon is preferred.
· Experience with TACACS+, RADIUS, 802.1X, AAA, and Active Directory integration.
· Strong experience with Palo Alto Panorama and enterprise firewall management.
· Experience with Network Access Control (NAC) technologies.
· Strong troubleshooting skills across enterprise network infrastructure.
· Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineering teams.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
