Engineering Intern - 3 month assignment

OSI Optoelectronics has a summer internship opportunity for a college student pursuing a diploma/degree in Engineering or related field to support the Research department. The selected candidate will have a solid academic background, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic industry.

Responsibilities

With the guidance and support of our Laser Diode team, the intern will have the opportunity to revise and maintain AutoCAD and SolidWorks drawings and documentation, support product testing activities, assist with data entry, and provide day-to-day technical support to engineering.

Qualifications

• Qualifying individuals must be enrolled in college during the 2026 academic school year and be in good standing.
• Must be pursuing an Engineering degree or related field.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint desired.
• Capability to learn to use electronic test equipment and interpret resulting data desired.
• Must have effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be a team player.

Pay may range from $16.90 to $16.90 hourly

The pay range above represents annual base salary only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job-related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations.

Base salary is one component of your total rewards package. You may be eligible for long-term incentives, potential discretionary bonuses, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discounted rate through the Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP).
