Summary

Job Description: GIS / ArcGIS Consultant, Little Rock, Arkansas - Remote

The selected consulting team will support our direct client with GIS planning, development, configuration, maintenance, data management, troubleshooting, and implementation activities. Responsibilities may include developing and maintaining GIS applications and web maps, managing geospatial databases, automating workflows, supporting enterprise GIS platforms, improving data quality, and providing technical guidance, training, and documentation.

 

Core Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Enterprise.
  • Experience with ArcGIS Dashboards, StoryMaps, and ArcGIS Hub.
  • Experience with ArcGIS Field Maps and Survey123 for field data collection.
  • Python scripting, geoprocessing, and GIS workflow automation.
  • GIS web application and web map development, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Enterprise geodatabase design, administration, and maintenance.
  • Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or other database environments supporting GIS.
  • GIS data migration, conversion, validation, normalization, and quality control.
  • Geospatial data management, attribute table maintenance, and metadata documentation.
  • GIS troubleshooting, software configuration, upgrades, testing, and technical support.
  • GIS project planning, stakeholder coordination, technical documentation, and reporting.
  • Experience with GIS standards, governance, user access management, and implementation planning.
  • Ability to provide technical training, knowledge transfer, and recommendations for GIS improvements.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting municipal or government GIS environments.
  • Public Works, infrastructure, transportation, utilities, or asset management project experience.
  • Experience implementing or maintaining enterprise GIS solutions using Esri technologies.
  • Experience developing public-facing GIS applications, dashboards, and citizen engagement tools.
  • Relevant Esri certifications or professional training.
