Job Description:
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Proficiency in general network architecture design and risk management analysis.
  • Strong experience with network and firewall technologies.
  • Ability to configure, build, stage, and deploy network and firewall infrastructure as code.
  • Proficiency with Linux and Windows Server.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Ansible, or Puppet.
  • Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including routing, switching, VLANs, SPANs, and TCP/IP protocols.
  • Experience with TCP/IP packet analysis and networking protocols.
  • Knowledge of system security controls.
  • Ability to participate in cross-functional teams and meet tight deadlines.
Experience:
  • Experience developing conceptual, logical, and physical IT engineering designs.
  • Experience analyzing business requirements and mapping them to technical infrastructure designs.
  • Experience preparing testing strategies, implementation plans, and migration plans.
  • Experience resolving complex hardware and application system issues.
  • Experience configuring, testing, and deploying infrastructure releases.
  • Experience leading complex technical projects and providing management updates.
  • Experience with automation of manual processes.
  • Experience with enterprise change and problem management processes.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, document, and execute network and security designs for implementation of network and security services.
  • Analyze business requirements and ensure design traceability.
  • Prepare testing strategies and oversee implementation and migration activities.
  • Configure, test, and deploy hardware and software infrastructure releases.
  • Recommend solutions to prevent or minimize system interruptions.
  • Drive roadmap and strategy development for technology lifecycle management.
  • Perform change and problem management in accordance with enterprise policies.
  • Lead complex projects and provide executive-level progress reports.
  • Utilize automation tools to streamline manual processes.
  • Ensure adherence to technical standards and programming best practices.
  • Train technical staff on tools, standards, and procedures.
  • Assist in monitoring compliance with internal audit and information security guidelines.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Should Have:
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Security+, CCNP, CEH, AWS, or Azure certifications.
  • Experience developing infrastructure as code solutions.
  • Experience contributing to departmental standards and procedures.
Skills:
  • Network security architecture.
  • Firewall configuration and policy management.
  • Infrastructure automation and scripting.
  • Risk analysis and security controls.
  • Change and problem management.
  • Cross-functional collaboration and executive reporting.
Qualification and Education:
  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
