\t- Perform incoming, in?process, and final inspections on materials and products. \t
- Assist in root cause investigations and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). \t
- Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming material. \t
- Partner with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to resolve and prevent quality issues. \t
- Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections according to engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions. \t
- Verify that products meet company, customer, and regulatory standards / specifications. \t
- Record Inspection results accurately in logs, forms, or digital systems. \t
- Prepare quality reports and communicate findings to supervisors or engineering teams. \t
- Evaluate and process returned goods and document findings. \t
- Support SPC data collection and trend analysis. \t
- Maintain calibration status of inspection and test equipment. \t
- Promote quality awareness and continuous improvement on the shop floor.
Required Skills
\t- Ability to read Technical / Blueprints / Engineering / GD&T drawings, Specifications, or Work Instructions. \t
- Proficient with inspection tools and measurement equipment, including calipers, micrometers, scales, surface tester, thread gauges, bore gauges, microscope, gauge pins, blocks, and feeler gauges. \t
- Basic understanding of quality systems, root?cause analysis, and problem?solving tools (e.g., 5 Why, Fishbone, FMEA, SPC). \t
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects. \t
- Basic understanding of quality control principles. \t
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment. \t
- Strong computer skills including MS Office, databases, and ERP systems. \t
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. \t
- Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001 and AS9100. \t
- Familiar with ERP/MRP systems and quality software tools. \t
- Knowledge of inspection methods (incoming, in?process, final inspection).
