Job Title: Showroom Merch Manager
Job Description: Clean, Organize, and set the showroom. Dress, move, and merchandise manniequins and showroom fixtures. Library past season samples, Box old samples, unbox and organize new season samples. Additional projects include - create or modify product assortments at direction of manager.
Specific Skills Needed:
Top 3-5 mandatory and/or minimum requirements
1. 2-5 years Visual Merchandising / Showroom Sample Experience
2. 2-5 years of Retail back of house or merchandising experience
3. Apparel Specific
4. General Apparel Knowledge - Fabric, Use Intent, etc.
Top 3-5 desirable attributes/qualifications
1. Proficient on Microsoft Suite / Adobe Illustrator is a plus
2. On-time qualities and has transportation for onsite
3. Self-Starter
4. Ability to Lift up to 40lbs and use a hand truck to move mannequins and boxes.
College is a plus but can be exchanged for 3 years visual merchandising experience.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collaborate with leadership and brand cross-functional teams, including the Center of Excellence, to deliver consumer-centric, best-in-class marketing for LensCrafters
• Lead all creative operations for department – including writing of strategic briefs, development of marketing elements, corporate visual store communications, process and creative pipeline (global and internal), and main bridge between VM and cross-functional partners in Operations, Product, Planning, Procurement, and Store Design
• Consumer Activations: Lead, plan, and execute with excellence consumer activations with multiple internal and external teams and agencies
• Project Management: Manage several projects concurrently, often leading higher-level team members to deliver excellence in a timely manner
• Develop and manage the department calendar used cross-functionally by the marketing team, global team, and our other channel partners
• Design and execute materials and processes that aid in the successful opening of stores and all VM in store executions
• Create, manage, and improve visual merchandising principles, factoring in multiple store design types, store segments, volume needs, and variety of design characteristics
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Merchandising or related field
• 8+ years of visual merchandising experience, preferably in a corporate capacity
• Previous leadership role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Business maturity and professionalism
• Understanding of the balance between art and science, and the role it plays in building the necessary strategies to drive a business
• Proven ability to manage others directly or indirectly as well as manage multiple projects and timelines
• Ability to influence and persuade others in the organization
• Proven presentation skills
