What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Operate and optimize municipal water and wastewater treatment systems
• Monitor plant performance and make real-time process adjustments
• Perform sampling, testing, and maintain accurate operational records
• Support preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues
• Ensure full compliance with Ontario regulations and safety standards

What Makes You a Strong Fit

• Active Ontario certification in Water Treatment (Minimum Level 1) license required (Level 2 preferred)
• Dual licensing (Water + Wastewater) is a strong advantage
• Experience working with treatment processes, pumps, valves, and SCADA/control systems
• Mechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting ability
• Valid driver’s license and openness to relocating to a remote community

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time role (40 hours/week) with on-call rotation
• Occasional weekend and holiday coverage
• Active, hands-on position (walking/standing majority of the day)
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs (25 kg)
• Mix of indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• May include confined space entry and ladder use
