Job Title: IPS Asset Management Developer / SME / Architect
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 6-12+ months
Role Overview:
We are seeking professionals at Developer, SME, or Architect level with experience in Transmission Asset Management to support and enhance asset performance solutions within utility environments. The role involves working with IPS Energy platforms focused on Asset Performance Management (APM) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) to improve asset reliability, lifecycle management, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement solutions using IPS Energy APM/EAM platforms
- Support transmission asset management initiatives, including substations and network assets
- Leverage data-driven and predictive maintenance strategies to optimize asset performance
- Work with CIM-based network models for utility asset representation and integration
- Utilize AI-powered analytics for risk assessment and asset health monitoring
- Manage and integrate substation protection and operational data
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as FERC
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and IT
Required Skills & Experience:
- Hands-on experience with Transmission Asset Management systems
- Knowledge of APM and EAM platforms, preferably IPS Energy solutions
- Strong understanding of utility domain (transmission & distribution)
- Experience with predictive analytics, asset lifecycle management, and risk modeling
- Familiarity with CIM (Common Information Model) standards
- Exposure to AI/ML-based analytics in asset management is a plus
- Understanding of regulatory compliance (FERC or equivalent)
Preferred Profile:
- Developer: Hands-on implementation and configuration experience
- SME: Deep functional knowledge of asset management processes and tools
- Architect: Solution design, system integration, and enterprise-level architecture expertise
