Window Server Administrator

Job Qualifications and Responsibility of Windows Server Administrator:

Key Responsibilities

* Administer and maintain Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity services.
* Manage Windows Server environments, including installation, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
* Implement security hardening for AD, domain controllers, and Windows operating systems.
* Create and maintain GPOs for security, configuration, and compliance.
* Monitor AD health, replication, authentication, and event logs.
* Manage user accounts, groups, service accounts, and privileged access.
* Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures for AD and Windows servers.
* Automate routine tasks using PowerShell.

Required Skills

* Strong experience with Active Directory administration and Windows Server (2016/2019/2022).
* Knowledge of Kerberos, NTLM, LDAP, DNS, DHCP, and identity fundamentals.
* Experience applying security baselines, CIS benchmarks, and hardening standards.
* Proficiency with Group Policy management and troubleshooting.
* Solid understanding of Windows OS security, patching, and system configuration.
* PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting.
* Ability to diagnose and resolve AD and Windows Server issues quickly.
