Role: Infrastructure Administrator (Network & PC & Phone Administration)
Location: Hawthorne, NY - Hybrid
Experience: 5+ years
Environment: Small to mid-sized site (approx. 65 70 users)

• High-impact role supporting core connectivity for an enterprise environment and multiple sites

• Hands-on ownership of LAN/WLAN operations with exposure to WAN/firewall coordination and security controls

• Strong collaboration with centralized infrastructure and security teams-work on refreshes, upgrades, and improvement initiatives

• Process-driven environment with formal change management, documentation standards, and audit-readiness practices

Overview:
Network / Infrastructure Administrator to support a 60-75 user satellite office working closely with a centralized IT infrastructure and security team.
Need a steady, hands-on operator with strong enterprise networking fundamentals, capable of maintaining local network stability while adhering to corporate standards, security controls, and change management processes.

Responsibilities:

Network & Connectivity Support

• Support and maintain local LAN/ WLAN infrastructure, including Cisco switches and enterprise wireless access points
• Perform switch port configuration, VLAN assignments, and basic routing support
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, latency, and performance issues
• Coordinate with central IT on WAN, firewall, and segmentation changes

Security & Compliance

• Support firewall connectivity and security policies in coordination with the central security team
• Assist with audit preparation and remediation activities (SOX /security controls)
• Follow formal change management and documentation standards

Infrastructure & End-User Support

• Provide senior-level escalation support for network and infrastructure incidents
• Support on-site hardware, VOIP phones, printers, and peripherals Coordinate ISP issues, circuit troubleshooting, and vendor escalations
• Serve as "smart hands" for centralized infrastructure and security teams Collaboration & Documentation Maintain accurate network diagrams and site documentation
• Partner with system administrators, security engineers, and vendors
• Participate in infrastructure refreshes and site-level improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in enterprise IT infrastructure or network administration

Strong hands-on experience with:

• • Cisco switches and routers
  • Enterprise Wi-Fi (controller-based preferred)
  • VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
• Experience supporting multi-site or satellite office environments
• Familiarity with firewall concepts (Palo Alto exposure a plus)
• Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
• Exposure to VMwareenvironments
• Basic Azure networking awareness
• ITIL or change-management experience
