Job Title: Techno-Functional Consultant – Pharma Commercial Data Management & Analytics

About the Role:
Value Technology is looking for a highly motivated Techno-Functional Consultant with 8–10 years of experience in Life Sciences Commercial Data Management and Analytics to join our Commercial Domain Consulting Group.
The ideal candidate should possess strong business knowledge of Pharma Commercial operations while also having hands-on experience in commercial data management, data governance, data quality, analytics, and modern cloud data platforms. This role will work closely with consulting, engineering, AI, and client stakeholders to design innovative, AI-ready commercial data solutions for global pharmaceutical companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Data Management
- Design and manage enterprise commercial data solutions supporting Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Patient Services, and Commercial Analytics.
- Understand and manage commercial datasets including:
- Customer Master (HCP/HCO)
- Product Master
- Retail & Non-Retail Sales
- CRM Data
- Claims Data
- Specialty Pharmacy Data
- Formulary Data
- Omnichannel Engagement Data
- Digital Marketing Data
- Support commercial data integration across multiple source systems.
- Develop scalable commercial data models and data products for analytics and reporting.
- Data Governance & Data Quality
- Implement enterprise Data Governance and Data Stewardship processes.
- Define and monitor Data Quality KPIs and business rules.
- Perform data profiling, validation, reconciliation, and root cause analysis.
- Support Metadata Management, Business Glossary, Data Lineage, and Reference Data Management initiatives.
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to improve data consistency, completeness, and reliability.
Required Experience:
- 8–10 years of experience in Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences Commercial Data Management and Analytics.
- Strong understanding of US Pharma Commercial business processes.
- Experience working with Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Commercial Excellence, and Analytics teams.
- Hands-on experience managing commercial datasets across multiple business functions.
- Experience implementing Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Stewardship initiatives.
- Experience with commercial data warehouses and enterprise data models.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to bridge business and technology teams.
