OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking an Assistant Project Engineer for our (PROJECT/OFFICE/GROUP NAME), in (LOCATION).

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepares and distributes required daily documentation
  • Coordinates all survey layout and control activities as well as field as-built drawings
  • Updates software, identifies/assesses potential deviations in quantities or payments from owners and to subcontractors
  • Reviews quality/quantity reports and associated rework costs
  • Maintains tracking logs/lists of materials delivered
  • Helps with RFIs and other project documents
  • Maintains quality logs and tracks rework costs
  • May order materials, schedule concrete pours/steel deliveries and track rental equipment
  • Inspects project site(s) to identify potential safety, site layout and/or compliance issues and reports to appropriate management
  • Participates and conducts THA, JHA and work plans in accordance with Walsh safety plan
  • Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Entry-level to 3 years of experience from previous internships
  • Good communication skills
  • Problem solver
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Critical thinking skills
