About the Role
Our client, a global leader in food, agriculture, supply chain, and industrial solutions, is seeking a Senior Professional, Identity & Access Management to join its cybersecurity organization. This role focuses on designing, securing, and modernizing enterprise identity infrastructure, with a particular emphasis on Microsoft Active Directory and cloud-based integrations.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Active Directory administration, identity and access management (IAM), and cloud technologies. This position plays a critical role in ensuring secure access to enterprise resources while supporting the organization''s broader cybersecurity and cloud transformation

Job Description
In this role, you will serve as a key contributor to the organization''s Identity Security team, helping to strengthen and modernize enterprise identity infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. You will lead Active Directory engineering and operational initiatives, support secure access strategies, and partner with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to implement scalable identity solutions. This position requires strong technical expertise in Active Directory, IAM, and AWS technologies, along with the ability to drive continuous improvements that enhance security, reliability, and operational efficiency across a global enterprise.
  • Design, engineer, administer, and secure Microsoft Active Directory environments, including forests, domains, trusts, organizational units (OUs), Group Policy, and domain controllers.
  • Manage and enhance Active Directory security posture through effective delegation models, privileged access controls, and administrative group structures.
  • Partner with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) teams to support secure access strategies and governance frameworks.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve Active Directory issues related to authentication, replication, DNS dependencies, account lifecycle management, and domain controller availability.
  • Support integrations between Active Directory and identity governance, authentication, access request, and certification platforms.
  • Develop and maintain operational standards, procedures, runbooks, and technical documentation for Active Directory services.
  • Participate in incident response activities, change management processes, security audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Design and implement Active Directory integration patterns within Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments, including authentication solutions leveraging LDAP and Kerberos.
  • Establish best practices and development standards that encourage secure application authentication through Kerberos-based approaches.
  • Support enterprise identity modernization efforts across hybrid and cloud environments.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor''s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Active Directory within large, complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory architecture, security principles, delegation models, and privileged group management.
  • Experience operating Active Directory within an integrated Identity and Access Management (IAM) ecosystem.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot authentication, replication, DNS, account management, and access-related issues.
  • Experience working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Active Directory deployment models, including managed and self-hosted solutions.
  • Experience integrating Active Directory with identity governance, access management, or privileged access management platforms.
  • Experience supporting global, multi-domain, and/or multi-region Active Directory environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
  • Ability to work onsite and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) technologies and privileged account governance.
  • Experience supporting hybrid identity environments that integrate on-premises Active Directory with cloud-based identity services.
  • Familiarity with identity governance, access certification, and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience developing technical standards, operational documentation, and support procedures.
  • Knowledge of enterprise cybersecurity practices, audit requirements, and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Experience contributing to identity modernization, cloud migration, or enterprise transformation initiatives.
