HealthCare Project Manager (Sr.)
This opportunity is open only to Tennessee residents and requires a hybrid schedule, including at least two in-office days per week, with additional on-site presence as needed.

Position Description:
The Tennessee Department of Health (TDH) is currently recruiting a HealthCare Project Manager (Sr.) to support the implementation of a statewide Health Information Exchange (HIE) supporting. The HealthCare Project Manager (Sr.) would be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the progress, identifying issues, providing solutions, and the day-to-day coordination of project activities. This position will work closely with key Department leaders and staff and will be directly responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, in compliance, and within budget, and for ensuring the effective communications with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing effective project management through the completion of the project
- Establishing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Regularly communicating with department senior leadership and staff
- Continuously collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
- Plan, develop, and express concepts accurately, and meet deadlines
- Assist in the review of deliverables
Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Must have an undergraduate or advanced degree related to health administration, public health administration, information management, informatics, nursing, economics, business administration, or related fields.
Experience equivalent to substantial (three or more years of) increasingly responsible professional public health program work, including, at least, two years of full-time supervisory work or program oversight.
Required experience includes at least two years of grant management, contract management, project management, and finance management.
Experience and proficiency in using Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Power Point, and SharePoint are required.
Substitution of Education for Experience:
Additional graduate coursework in a business or health-related field may be substituted, on a year-for-year basis, for one year of the required non-supervisory experience.
